Settings
The Settings screen lets you customise how S3 Manager looks and behaves, and provides access to app information, update checks, and open-source license attributions.

Update checks
Section titled “Update checks”Click Check for updates to query the release endpoint immediately. S3 Manager will report one of the following:
- Up to date — you are already on the latest version.
- Update available: vX.Y.Z — a newer version exists. Click the download link to open the release page in your browser and download the installer.
- An error message if the check could not reach the release endpoint.
Enable Auto-check for updates to have S3 Manager check automatically in the background. When a new version is found a notification appears in the app. See Updating for more detail on the update process.
Open-source licenses
Section titled “Open-source licenses”At the bottom of the Settings screen, click Show licenses (N) to expand a list of the open-source packages bundled with S3 Manager, including their license types and copyright notices. Click Hide licenses to collapse the list.
