Installation
macSCP ships as a pre-built desktop app. You do not need any development tools to run it.
Downloading macSCP
Section titled “Downloading macSCP”All releases are published to GitHub Releases. Download the latest DMG from the Assets section of the latest release.
- Open the
.dmg— a Finder window appears showing the app. - Drag macSCP into Applications.
- Eject the disk image.
The app is signed and notarized, so macOS opens it without a Gatekeeper warning on first launch.

Verifying the install
Section titled “Verifying the install”You can verify a signed release build yourself:
spctl -a -vvv -t install /Applications/macSCP.appThe command should report acceptance on a signed and notarized build.
