Import from Cyberduck

macSCP reads Cyberduck’s bookmarks so you do not have to rebuild your collection: choose the import in the Sessions menu.

How it works

1. Preview — a preview lists every Cyberduck bookmark with a checkbox; you pick what comes over.
2. New or update — sessions already imported are recognised and updated instead of duplicated, so you can re-run the import after changes in Cyberduck without growing duplicates. The group you import into is shown with its full path, for example Work / Prod.
3. Passwords — macSCP can copy passwords over from Cyberduck’s own keychain entries on request. Without that, the imported sessions simply have no password yet.

What is supported

• SFTP bookmarks import.
• S3-compatible bookmarks import.
• WebDAV bookmarks are not recognised yet — see Troubleshooting.

Note

A provenance match needs the same connection kind: a bookmark updates the macSCP session it was imported from, and an unchanged bookmark can take the provenance marker, but only when the kind agrees.
