Projects

Marketix is multi-tenant: everything you create — links, domains, QR codes, pixels, and statistics — lives inside a project. You can belong to one project or several, each completely isolated from the others.

Each project has its own set of resources. A short link created in Project A is invisible in Project B. Domains, pixels, and statistics are equally scoped. URLs in the app always include the project identifier, for example /project/{project}/links, so the browser and the server always agree on which project you are working in.

Your role in a project is either Admin or Member. Admins can manage team membership; members can create and edit links and domains but cannot change who has access. Creating new projects and adding members to an existing project is done by a super-admin or a project admin through the Team page — this is not covered here.

When you log in and have access to two or more projects, Marketix sends you to the project chooser rather than directly to a dashboard. The chooser lists every project you can access in alphabetical order, showing your role badge (Admin or Member) next to each name. Type in the search box to filter by project name. Click a project to open its dashboard.

Once you are inside a project you can switch to another without logging out. The project switcher is at the bottom of the sidebar. It shows the name of the currently active project. Click it to open a dropdown listing all your other projects. Selecting one navigates immediately to that project’s dashboard.

All app URLs are scoped to a project. When you copy a link from the address bar to share with a colleague, they must also have access to that specific project to follow it — otherwise they will be sent to the project chooser or denied access.
