Team

The Team page lets project admins invite new members, change member roles, and remove members. Only users with the Admin role in the project can access this page (super-admins can also access team management regardless of their project role).

Marketix has two project-level roles:

MemberAccess to project content (links, QR codes, pixels, statistics) but cannot manage team membership.

A project must always have at least one admin. You cannot remove the last admin or demote them to Member.

At the top of the Team page there is an invite form:

  1. Enter the person’s email address.
  2. Choose the role they will be given when they accept — Member (default) or Admin.
  3. Click Invite.

An invitation email is sent to that address. The invitation is valid for 7 days. If a pending invitation already exists for the same email, it is replaced by the new one.

The invited person appears in the Pending invitations table immediately. An “Expires” date is shown next to each pending invitation.

If the person did not receive the email or the invitation expired, click the Send icon on the pending invitation row to resend it. Resending is rate-limited: you can only resend once every 60 seconds. If the button is greyed out, wait a moment and try again.

Click the trash icon on a pending invitation row and confirm to revoke it immediately. The invitation link in the original email becomes invalid.

When the invited person clicks the link in the invitation email, they land on an acceptance page. The behaviour depends on their account status:

  • New user — they must enter a name and set a password to create their account, then click Create account & join.
  • Existing user, not logged in — they are prompted to log in as the invited email address first.
  • Existing user, already logged in as the correct account — a single Accept invitation button joins them to the project immediately.
  • Logged in as a different account — they are shown a message explaining that they must log out and log in with the invited address.

After accepting, the person is logged in (if they were not already) and redirected to the project dashboard.

The Members table lists everyone who has already accepted an invitation and is a current member of the project.

Use the role dropdown in the member’s row to switch between Admin and Member. The change takes effect immediately. You cannot change your own role from this dropdown.

Click the trash icon on a member row and confirm. You cannot remove yourself, and you cannot remove the last admin of a project.
