Your Account

You can manage your own account — name, email, password, and two-factor authentication — from the profile page. Click your name or avatar in the bottom-left corner of the panel, then choose Edit profile.

On the profile page you can update:

  • Name — your display name shown throughout the panel.
  • Email — the address used for login.

Save changes with the Save button.

On the same profile page, scroll to the password section. Enter your new password and confirm it, then save. Leave the password fields blank if you only want to update name or email.

Inventorix supports authenticator-app MFA (TOTP). Whether MFA is available — and whether it is required — depends on how your administrator has configured the instance.

  1. Open your profile page.
  2. In the Two-factor authentication section, click Enable.
  3. A QR code is displayed. Open your authenticator app (e.g. Google Authenticator, Authy, or 1Password) and scan the code, or enter the setup key manually.
  4. Enter the 6-digit code your app shows to confirm the enrollment.
  5. Click Save or Confirm.

From this point on, you are prompted for a TOTP code each time you log in.

If your administrator has enabled recovery codes, a set of one-time recovery codes is shown immediately after you enable MFA.

You can regenerate recovery codes from the profile page at any time. Regenerating invalidates all previously issued codes.

If MFA is not enforced by the administrator, you can disable it from the profile page by clicking Disable in the two-factor authentication section.

If MFA is enforced by your administrator, the disable option is not available and MFA is mandatory for all users.

Administrators can enable or disable login access for users and manage user records in the Users section. See Users & Access for the user-facing view, or Security for the admin view of authentication settings.
