Getting Started

This page walks you through signing in for the first time and orienting yourself in the Inventorix panel.

Open the panel URL provided by your administrator (typically /app). You will see the Inventorix login screen.

Email and password login — enter your e-mail address and password, then click Sign in.

Sign in with Microsoft — if your administrator has enabled Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) SSO, a button labelled Sign in with Microsoft appears below the login form. Clicking it redirects you through the Microsoft authentication flow and returns you to the panel. You do not need a separate password in this case.

After signing in you land on the dashboard. It contains three widget sections, displayed top to bottom.

The first stats row shows three counters:

StatWhat it shows
AssetsTotal number of assets in the system
LizenzenLicense count (placeholder — currently always 0)
TotalAssets + Lizenzen

Below the overview stats, a second row shows warranty health:

StatWhat it shows
ExpiredAssets whose warranty end date is in the past
Expiring within 30 daysAssets with warranty expiring in the next 30 days
Expiring within 90 daysAssets with warranty expiring in the next 90 days

Each stat links to the Guarantee Status Report for details.

The full-width table below the stats lists all assets that have a warranty end date set, sorted by that date ascending. Columns:

  • Owner
  • Model
  • Serial number
  • Warranty end date (badge — red if past, amber if upcoming)
  • Days left (negative if already expired)

The sidebar groups the panel into the following sections.

  • Assets — the main asset list and management. The navigation badge shows the total asset count.
  • Evaluations / Reports — a reports index page with links to individual reports (e.g. guarantee status, asset value, handover history, inventory by location).
  • Handovers — the full list of completed handover records.

The reference data that backs assets:

  • Asset Models — model catalogue. Badge shows total model count.
  • Asset Types — categories for assets.
  • Manufacturers — the brand/vendor list.
  • Places — physical locations.
  • Users — user account management. The badge shows enabled/disabled counts.
  • QR Code Generator — generates batches of fresh QR codes for labelling new assets.
  • Settings — application runtime settings (visible to admins).
